Light Position your Olive Tree in a location where it can bask in 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. Water Ensure the soil is thoroughly soaked during watering and allow excess water in the saucer to drain away to prevent root rot. Wait for the top 3-5cm of soil to dry out before watering again, particularly in the summer when more frequent watering may be needed. Tip: even if the soil surface appears dry, it might still be moist beneath. Before watering, insert your finger into the soil to gauge moisture levels. If it feels soggy, hold off on watering for a few days and recheck. Temperature & Humidity Maintain an environment with moderate to warm temperatures and average humidity for your Olive Tree. Maintenance During spring, nourish your Olive Tree with a well-balanced organic fertiliser. In late spring, conduct pruning to shape your Olive Tree. Remove any dead or damaged leaves and eliminate suckers, which tend to sprout from the roots and should be pruned away.
